Bitter Fruits is a Serbian television series co-produced by Radio-Television Serbia and production company Ave Serbi. It aired from October 2008 to May 2009 on the First Program of Serbian Radio and Television. Sinisa Kovacevic described the sublimation of all the negativities that have plagued these areas over the past decade and a half. He collected all the poisons and poisonous fruits that polluted both individuals and society. Between villas in Dedinje and cardboard settlements, shameless politicians, drug-breakers, silicone singers, civilians, victims of the crossing, priests and the ungodly, Kovacevic portrays reflections of a reality that incites tears and laughter as well as wonder. Editor-in-chief of the RTS Cultural and Educational Program, Bozidar Nikolic, said that this series brought "finally something new": There is everything in the Bitter Fruits; despair, lyricism, crying, they talk about topics on which we turn our heads and that we are indifferent to, and I am sure that Siniša Kovačević will show with power his gift those places that we googled.
