Goten and Trunks had to hurry if they were going to learn to perform Fusion, but they found the merging pose they were required to make to be so unflattering, they could not get into their training. Unable to bear seeing them like this, Goku persuades them by turning Super Saiyan 3 again. The time for Goku's return to the Other World drew near.
