Kaio investigates the huge Ki he can feel coming from Planet Namek and warns Goku not to go anywhere near Freeza. Upon hearing how tyrannical Freeza's actions are, Piccolo and the others decide to become even stronger. They take on the pun challenge posed by Kaio in order to receive his training. Meanwhile, on Planet Namek, Vegeta attacks Zarbon when he takes action independent of Freeza.
