Liam and Caroline find a burglar in their home and lock him in their kitchen. He ends up being revealed as an old school friend, who now plans to press charges against them for their use of undue force. Chloe's new best friend attempts to mess with Liam and Caroline's heads.
The Flynns hold an anniversary party for Caroline's parents, Pat and Alan. Liam's patience and party skills are tested to the max, especially when the tactless Pat upsets Chloe by revealing some truths about her conception.
