In the year of 1552, the Ottoman Empire continues its conquest of Europe. The Kingdom of Hungary stands as a shield of the West against the Empire. After nearly 2 centuries of fighting, the Hungarians are slowly bleeding and recently lost control of their central kingdom. The fortress of Eger stands as an obstacle to an Ottoman army led by Kara Ahmed Pasha, who seeks to take control of Northern Hungary. The defenders of Eger, led by Baron István Dobó, will fight to the last man despite the odds that are against them.
