Story:
With every new installment of the John Wick series I question whether or not they can out do the last. This movie goes all out on the action, and does not disappoint when it comes to knife, and gun fights. The assassin world of John Wick is definitely a large focus in this film and explains a lot of things about the others. However, I wonder whether or not that explanation is necessary. I loved the first two John Wick movies because they were straight action with a simple yet somewhat compellingly innate story line. In a moment of loss your only friend, a dog, is savagely killed unleashing an immense amount of anger that can then be directed upon something... Or should I say someone... It's a simple and relatable concept. In the second movie the actions John has taken have forced him into a situation he does not want to be in, and he has to deal with those consequences. Who of us can't relate to that? I guess my point is that this was an amazing movie but it didn't have the same feel as the first two. Still definitely worth a watch!
