Born as a twin in Washington, DC to single mom Marsha Liss, Joel Liss has been passionate about film as long as he could remember. But he didn't get serious about creating until he found Tryka Film Coalition, a youth filmmaking group in his hometown of Bethesda, MD. His Debut film, The Salesmen, recently premiered there.
