From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Nick Grindé (January 12, 1893 – June 19, 1979) was an American film director and screenwriter. He directed 57 films between 1928 and 1945. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Grinde graduated from the University of Wisconsin.
