Behnoosh Bakhtiyari (بهنوش بختیاری) was born in Tehran and studied French Translation at Islamic Azad University. She initially worked as a script supervisor and says it was this starter job that taught her responsibility and discipline. Behnoosh Bakhtiyari took a one year course in Theater at Rassam Honar and in 1996 and began her acting career with Fresh Air.
