Felipe Cazals (born 28 July 1937) is a Mexican film director, screenwriter and producer his parents were from France but he is registered as born in Mexico, D.F. His wife is Rosa Eugenia Báez de Cazals. Together with Arturo Ripstein is considered in Mexico one of the most representative film directors of his generation.
